Climate: China has a climate that goes from on extreme dry seasons to the other wet monsoons, which leads to clear temperature differences in winter and summer. In winter, northern winds. China climates differ from region to region how big and diverse the country is and how large of an area it covers. In the central part of China, there are four distinctive seasons. In northeast China, summers are short but have lots of sunshine; the winter is long and cold. In southwest China of low latitudes, have characteristically vertical seasonal zones.
Major physical features: Major Mountain Everest, high plateaus, deserts in west; plains, deltas. China's physical characteristics mainly comprise of plateaus and mountains that are lower in the east. Rivers: the Yangtze, Huang He, Amur, Pearl, Mekong and the Brahmaputra. The Great Wall of China. Four major plateaus Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Inner Mongolia Plateau, The Loess Plateau, Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau.Major cultural characteristics: During the Shang Dynasty, a scholar thought that chinese food should include flavors such as sweet, sour, bitter, piquant and salty. The clothes that were more traditional were the Pien-fu which is a two-piece costume, which includes a tunic-like top that reaches the knee and an ankle-length skirt. The Ch’ang-p’ao is a long robe while the Shen-I is a combination of pien-fu and Ch’ang-p’ao. It is a tunic and a skirt sewn together to form a long robe. All the traditional Chinese garments have minimum stitches. Embroidered edgings, draped silks, decorative bands and embellishments on shoulders and wide sashes are used as ornamentation. As a part of the Chinese culture all traditional Chinese clothes are dark in color. Dark colors are preferred to the light ones

Human Rights Information

One of the major human rights violations is the trafficking and kidnapping of people in china. Men are being forced into labor camps to work for little to no money or benefits. Women are sold to be wives for men or sexual exploitation in other countries as prostitutes. Children are also kidnapped and sold as slaves or worse. it is still and ongoing problem in china today and they have faced much in the way of protesting backlash for it as well. China is now on the tier two watch lists because of the violations of its people. They also have problems with local government corruption too.
Most of the people affected are women and children but men are common as well for working. They usually come from the borders of china. Women and children usually come from Mongolia North KoreaBurma, Russia, and Vietnam.Most others like men and teenage boys come from Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Japan. If the government catches the people they are most likely sent back to North Korea to face even more hardship there.

Environmental Information

Major Environment issues include air pollution (greenhouse gases, sulfur dioxide particulates) from reliance on coal produces acid rain. There are also water shortages, particularly in the north. The water pollution from untreated wastes in the south is also a big problem too. As well as deforestation an estimated loss of one-fifth of agricultural land since 1949 to soil erosion and economic development; desertification; trade in endangered species.
